Millions of industrial machines get scrapped every year. Not because they're broken, but because nobody can prove they're safe, compliant, or worth rebuilding. The paperwork is too hard. The regulations are too dense. The risk calculation defaults to "melt it down."
We started cldpass.ai to change that default.
BIPS Infotech GmbH was founded in Berlin with a single thesis: if you make it ridiculously easy to document a machine's condition, history, and environmental value, more machines get reused and less steel ends up in furnaces.
Our German pilot programme with Welter Zahnrad (gear manufacturing), Serwema (CNC rebuilding), and machinebazar.com (used machinery trading) proved the thesis. Operators with no prior training created full Digital Product Passports in under 15 minutes using their smartphones. MachineryEye™ matched expert-inspector accuracy at 91 %. And buyers started paying premiums for machines with verified passports.
Now we're scaling, because four EU regulations converge between 2026 and 2028, and the 14 million active industrial machines in Europe need documentation that doesn't exist yet.
